Courses are available for those who may have little or no experience but would like to carry out Domestic Electrical Installation  (House Wiring). This is an introduction to installation work covering the basics of lighting systems and power (socket outlets etc), earthing systems, protective devices, cable types and sizes, use of test instruments etc..  A good basic knowledge and understanding of electrical installation theory and practice will be delivered.    A little knowledge is often sufficient to make electrical equipment function but a much higher level of knowledge and experience is usually needed to ensure safety”.

For those who are already qualified as an Electrician, Domestic Electrical Installer, Electrical Technician or Electrical Engineer, or similar, there are courses to ensure compliance with current Regulations and Legislation such as the 18th Edition of the Wiring Regulations BS 7671 ,  the Applicable Building Regulations for Electrical Installations in Dwellings – Part ‘P’    These courses are also suitable for other trades, such as Gas Engineers, Plumbers, Builders, Kitchen/Bathroom fitters etc.  and for those who have completed the Domestic Electrical Installation course.                                                                                                                              

Inspection, Testing and Certification of Electrical Installations courses include both Initial Verification, (new installations or new circuits), and also Electrical Installation Condition Reporting, (existing installations). In addition Testing of Electrical Equipment courses, (PAT), are also on offer by day.

ELECTRIC VEHICLE CHARGING EQUIPMENT INSTALLATION courses are also available. 

A high standard of delivery of electrical courses is offered, providing flexibility of attendance with courses available by day, 9am to 2.30pm (one day a week), and by evening, 6pm to 8.30pm. (two evenings a week)

Our electrical courses are designed for you to gain the qualifications that are the ‘bench mark’ and are delivered in the most user friendly way possible in a relaxed environment with an experienced tutor, (twice awarded ‘Teacher of Excellence’).
